LES MARAIS DE BOURGES 2 (The Marshes of Bourges 2) – 30 x 40 cm

450,00 €
VENDU

Painted on site, this watercolor captures a suspended moment in the heart of the Bourges marshes.
In the soft morning light, the abandoned boat, the tall grasses, and the shimmering water reflections compose a peaceful, almost silent scene.
Through the transparency of watercolor, nature emerges in delicate touches, between stillness and the whisper of the wind.

Continuing my "Chemin faisant" series, this work explores the intimate relationship between landscape and human memory.
Through watercolor — a medium of immediacy — I seek to capture the ephemeral: the play of light on water, the density of vegetation, and the quiet abandonment of objects.
"The Marshes of Bourges 2" is an invitation to slow down, to notice the spaces we cross, and to pay attention to the modest traces left by human presence in the natural landscape.
