A series at the crossroads of art and territory
Each painting from the “Chemin faisant, les grolles” series evokes a singular shoe — often feminine, always rooted in an imagination of movement, land, elegance, or labour.
Through square formats close to framed sketches, Alain Rouschmeyer explores a gallery of steps, heels, points and leather. The artist, trained as an architect, calls upon both the precision of drawing and the poetry of detail.
