LE MIROIR AU PAPILLON (The Mirror and the Butterfly) – 20 x 20 cm

330,00 €

Through this pen and black chalk drawing, "The Mirror and the Butterfly" explores the theme of reflection, duality, and lightness.
Two female figures respond to one another in a silent dialogue, their gestures and glances evoking the fleeting flutter of a butterfly’s wings.
Between stillness and inner movement, the work captures the fragile instant where the image and its reflection brush against each other without merging.

  • English Title: The Mirror and the Butterfly

Artistic Approach

In the spirit of my "Chemin faisant" series, this drawing continues my exploration of human presence, the intimate echo of the body, and the fleeting nature of perception.
Through the intertwining of lines and the balance between shadow masses and luminous spaces, I seek to translate the delicacy of passing moments — the ephemeral encounter between oneself and one's reflection.
"The Mirror and the Butterfly" invites a silent meditation on suspended time and the light, almost invisible, trace of existence.
