LE BANC DE DUINGT (The Bench of Duingt) – 30 x 40 cm

210,00 €

In the shade of an old façade, this graphite drawing captures a discreet fragment of the village of Duingt: a bench, a wheelbarrow of flowers, a few planks leaning against the wall.
The muted light, the textures of wood and stone, and the slow passage of time compose a soft and silent scene.
"The Bench of Duingt" conveys the simple and peaceful soul of places encountered along the way.

In the spirit of my Chemin faisant series, this work explores the discreet traces of human presence — the small daily arrangements that shape inhabited space.

"The Bench of Duingt" invites viewers to contemplate what a hurried gaze might miss: the softness of shade, the whisper of materials.
