Artistic approach
This painting continues my series of suspended moments from daily life, where what’s about to happen matters as much as what’s shown. Here, music is absent but imminent, through objects and their poised quietness. The Radio Flyer cart, usually playful, becomes a vessel of memory, echoing the rigor and poetry of artistic preparation. As often in my work, the human presence is implied — evoked by objects and the silence they hold.
